Winter Shards Vol. 2 came out in March 2023 with seven tracks and seven artists. Three years later it is past 50,000 plays on SoundCloud alone.
One track carries it
More than half of that total is Malva.'s Elysian. That is not a knock on the rest of the record, it is how compilations work: one track finds an audience outside the release and drags the others into rooms they would not have reached on their own.
Whad's Look At You is well into five figures behind it, and every track on the compilation has found listeners. Seven for seven. That is the part we are proud of, more than the total.
Why the number is worth saying
We are a small label and we do not have a marketing department, so a number like this is the whole argument. It says the format works: seven tracks, one season, picked rather than gathered.
It also says something about the roster. All seven artists on that record are still on the label.
Still there
The whole compilation plays here in full, and it is on every platform. Three years is long enough for a record to settle into whatever it is going to be, and this one is still moving.
